I'm a postdoctoral research fellow with a strong interest in developing treatment protocols that allow us to better address and ideally steer cancer evolution ("evolutionary therapies"). I'm a mathematical modeler by training, and previously completed my PhD under joint supervision of Dr Anderson (H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, USA) and Prof Maini (University of Oxford, UK) on using differential equations and agent-based models to investigate delaying drug resistance by leveraging competition between drug-sensitive and resistant cells (so-called "adaptive therapy"). Through this work, I've become increasingly interested in clinical translation, and joined the Scott lab in February 2023 to gain wet lab experience and work on preclinical ways to test and refine evolutionary therapy protocols as we move them from blackboard to the bedside. In my free time I'm an avid sailor and enjoy Swing and Scottish Country Dancing.
